hibernation.
this rain makes me feel lethargic and cross and cuddly all at once. like a bear.
i just want to find a woodsy cave and be a bear.
i will curl up on pine needles. and sleep until the rain goes away.
i will dream about shiny silver lake trout and summer berries fat with juice.
when i wake up the trees will be drip-drip-dripping dry in the sunlight.
and then i won’t be a bear anymore,...
